Global economy is in a bad way. We read in papers of companies letting go of their staffs by hundreds. Today, I read in CNN that Chrysler is shutting production for one whole month!
My company is in a bad way, too. We're expecting retrenchment but do not know who is on the list. So, this time next week, I may be unemployed. Some of my colleagues are philosophical about it, saying if the company doesn't want you, it's no use hanging around. Some are not so complacent. Some worry. I feeb bad especially for those with big commitments such as family. I worry too, but am philosophical about it. Que Sera Sera.
