Good day!
It's only recently that I started noticing the sound of birds chirping in the morning outside my window. Six months ago, I would had woken up and rushed to get ready for work. Never noticed them. Heard only the doors slamming, car engines and ambulance from the not so distant main road.
These days, I'd wake up and the first things I'll listen for are the birds' joyful songs. I like to stay in bed with my eyes closed and listen to them. They, if not they then it's one extremely talktative bird, seemed to be greeting me with sounds of joy, telling me that the day is gonna be good be joyful, be happy, be everything but sad. Very hard to be grouchy on such mornings. Coffee not required.

Occasionally, I will see a bird or two on my balcony. Sometimes, though very rarely, I'd be awaken by the rowdy sounds of two birds,or more, fighting. And boy, are those birds ferocious! Must be mating season. Wonder if all those chirps am hearing are the hungry wee birdies...hmmm...
